This Faux Roman Shade is a stationary; It DOES NOT go up or down.



CONSTRUCTION: Hand-sewn Stationary Roman Shade combined with machine sewn rod pocket create a high quality valance. I use Gutermann thread, cotton quilting thread and bonding tape. Professional clean front. Only visible front seam is rod pocket.

LINING: It is optional but it is very important for a Window Treatment to look better and more structured. The only time that you DO NOT need a lining is when you are using a heavy weight fabric. So, I HIGHLY advise you to use LINING!


MOUNTING YOUR SHADE:
These shades have a 2.5" rod pocket at the top which can be customized upon request so you can use them with most curtain rods. Curtain rod not included.


Inside Mount: Measure width of window inside window frame. I will subtract 1/4 inch from your measurement so shade hangs properly. (shades should not touch side window frame because they will wrinkle.) I recommend using tension rod for inside mounting.


Outside Mount: Measure window opening (including window frame & molding if applicable). Add 1-2 inches to this measurement so Roman shade will cover window completely. I recommend using a decorative curtain rod.
